Location: Truro (across various locations in Cornwall)
Start Dates: April 2025 or September 2025
Hours: 37 hours per week across 5 days
Contract Type: Fixed-Term

Teaching Personnel, in partnership with various Multi-Academy Trust's (MAT's) in Truro and surrounding areas, is excited to offer a range of Apprentice Teaching Assistant opportunities for enthusiastic individuals passionate about working with children. With a variety of roles available, this is your chance to specialise in an area that aligns with your skills and interests.

We are recruiting for:

• General Classroom Teaching Assistants
• Sports Teaching Assistants
• Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Teaching Assistants

These apprenticeships are an excellent way to gain practical experience while working towards a nationally recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification, delivered in partnership with LMP Education.

About the Role
As an Apprentice Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide general classroom support, work one-to-one, or lead small groups.
• Assist in intervention programs to help children achieve their learning goals.
• Create a positive, inclusive environment to support learning and development.
• Support physical education and sports activities (Sports TA roles).
• Provide tailored support to students with additional needs (SEND roles).

• Is eager to gain hands-on classroom experience in a role where every day is different.
• Is ready to explore opportunities in General, Sports, or SEND pathways.
