Job Description:
As a School Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the daily operation of the school office, acting as the first point of contact for parents, staff, and visitors
- Handling phone calls, emails, and inquiries in a professional and welcoming manner
- Maintaining accurate records, including student data, attendance, and staff information, using the school’s management systems
- Coordinating schedules, meetings, and events, ensuring effective communication among stakeholders
- Supporting financial administration, including processing invoices and monitoring budgets
- Assisting with HR tasks, such as maintaining staff records and supporting recruitment processes
- Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, data protection, and other regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally in an educational setting
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office and school-specific software (e.g., SIMS or similar)
- Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality in a school context
- A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
