One-to-One Tutors Needed in Eastwood (NG16) for Behavioural Support

Are you passionate about providing flexible, one-on-one assistance to children outside traditional school settings? TP Tutors offers an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young children in Eastwood (NG16) through behavioural support. We seek dedicated tutors to help children manage their behaviours and de-escalate challenging situations.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Create, deliver, and adapt engaging sessions tailored to each child's needs in core subjects.
  • Work with children facing behavioural challenges, employing diverse strategies to address their individual needs.
  • Monitor progress and plan future learning objectives.
  • Inspire children to excel and stay engaged in their learning.

Location:

  • Nottinghamshire, particularly Eastwood (NG16), accessible by car or public transport.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children or young people.
  • Proficiency in planning and delivering tailored, engaging sessions.
  • Ability to develop effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Skills to boost children's confidence in their learning journey.
  • Capacity to monitor progress and plan learning pathways. (SEN experience is desirable but not mandatory.)

Requirements:

  • Evidence of relevant skills and experience.
  • Current DBS certificate (registered with the update service). Teaching Personnel can assist with the application process if needed.

Working Hours:

  • Typically Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, with potential for additional responsibilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
