Reception Class - Teaching Assistant

Moston, Manchester.

 

If you’re looking for a rewarding teaching assistant position within a Primary School, this could be the job for you!

We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work within our reception class to support a pupil with a diagnosis of Autism. This pupil requires 1:1 support within the classroom and to be provided specific individualised interventions. You will be supported by the class teacher and the school SENCO in order to help this pupil to reach their full potential!

We are looking to appoint somebody who:

  • Can offer a nurturing and understanding approach.
  • Follow guidance from the class teacher to provide engaging activities and follow the child’s Educational Health Care Plan
  • Work full time, term time only, from 08:15 – 15:30.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
