Job Duties:
- Provide 1:1 support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an educational setting
- Implement individualised education plans and strategies to support the learning and development of each student
- Assist students with academic tasks, social skills development, and emotional regulation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in working with individuals with SEN
- Childcare Level 2/3 Qualification
Education:
Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Education or related field
Experience:
Prior experience working with SEN students in an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of SEN legislation and best practises
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training in SEN support or related areas
- Experience with specific learning disabilities or behavioural disorders
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily in a school or educational setting
- May require occasional travel to different locations within the region
- Full-time hours with potential for overtime or additional responsibilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
