Role and Responsibilities: As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the students' academic and personal development. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting teachers
- Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN and SEMH challenges.
- Experience working with children with PMLD.
- Implementing strategies to help students manage their emotions and behaviour.
- Encouraging a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Supporting students' social, emotional, and mental well-being.
- Collaborating with teachers to ensure the best outcomes for our students.
The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a dedicated individual who:
- Is resilient and able to remain calm under pressure.
- Has experience working with secondary students, particularly those with SEN and SEMH needs.
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is proactive, flexible, and able to adapt to the unique needs of each student.
- Is committed to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
