Year 4 Teacher – Primary School in Ashford

Position: Year 4 Teacher
Location: Ashford, Kent
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-Term Supply (with potential for permanent placement)
Start Date: FEBRUARY 2025
Salary: Payed to scale

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher with a passion for Key Stage 2 Teaching Personnel recruiting a talented Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Ashford. This exciting opportunity is ideal for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons tailored to Year 4 pupils.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils.
  • Plan and assess work in line with the national curriculum and school policies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for all children.

What We’re Looking For

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
  • Proven experience teaching in KS2 is preferred but not essential – ECTs are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A creative, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
  • Commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of all pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
