Teaching Personnel Birmingham are recruiting experienced and passionate teaching assistants to join our team to work at a mainstream secondary school in Warwickshire (B46.)
Ideally, we are seeking an individual with experience in schools, has a broad understanding of special educational needs and how to support children with this and can commit to a full time opportunity.
Hours: Full Time Mon-Fri (8:30-3:30)
Pay: £85-100 per day dependent upon experience
Person Specification:
- Teaching Assistant qualification (ideal)
- GCSEs in English and Maths
- Any relevant qualification for supporting children in schools
- Experience as a teaching assistant
- Experience working in a supportive role within schools or educational/care settings
- Experience working with children with special educational needs
- Enhanced child only DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one through us)
- Knowledge of ECHPs is a bonus
Job Role/Responsibilites:
- Work with the students within the class on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Support those students with special educational needs who require tailored support and attention
- Always adhere to schools policies and procedures
- Communicate well with class teacher and follow guidance from them

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
