Job description

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Teacher of Maths for a secondary school in Basingstoke, with a start date in January 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to students’ educational journeys in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Role Overview:

  • Teach Maths across Key Stage 3 and 4 to students of varying abilities.
  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that cater to a range of learning needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the Maths department to uphold high standards of education and student progress.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Applications are encouraged from ECTs qualifying this year as well as unqualified teachers with a strong Maths background.
  • A commitment to inspiring students and a passion for mathematics.
  • Effective classroom management skills and a dedication to promoting a positive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
