We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Farnborough. This full-time role offers a fantastic opportunity for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) qualifying this year to develop their teaching practice and secure a long-term position, with the potential to transition to a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4.

Foster a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking in students.

Assess, monitor, and support student progress, ensuring all learners reach their full potential.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practices.

Uphold high expectations for student behaviour, promoting a positive learning experience.
What We Are Looking For:

A Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification (ECTs are encouraged to apply).

Passion for English and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.

Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 3 and 4 English curriculum.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to secure a permanent role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
