Art Teacher – Secondary School in Sheffield

Location: Sheffield
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: January 2024 (earlier start dates available from as soon as November)

The Role
As an Art Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5 teaching.
  • Foster creativity and artistic expression in students, developing their skills in a range of mediums, including drawing, painting, and sculpture.
  • Work with students to create inspiring art projects and encourage critical thinking about art and design.
  • Plan, assess, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to students of all abilities.
  • Play an active role in the school's extracurricular art programme, including exhibitions and competitions.

Requirements

  • A UK-recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching Art at secondary level.
  • A passion for helping students develop their creativity and artistic talents.
