Are you a positive, proactive primary school teacher looking for full time work? Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a  teacher to work in year 5 for a primary school in the Port Talbot area, your own transport is required. The school is looking for a full time teacher to start in January 2025.

Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:30am – 3:30pm)

Key Responsibilities

-          Safeguarding children

-          Have a good understanding of the year 5 curriculum and be able to input it into engaging lessons and tasks.

-           Create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment in the classroom

-          Assess and track pupils development and progress

-          Communicate efficiently with staff, pupils and parents

-          Develop your teaching skills and be able to adapt your teaching strategies if required

Requirements

-          Qualified teacher status (QTS) – ESSENTIAL

-          Year 5 curriculum expertise- a strong knowledge and understanding with effective planning abilities

-          Eligibility to work in the UK and ability to pass enhanced DBS checks.

-          Driving Licence ( not essential but preferred)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
