Sports Coach

Are you passionate about sports and love the idea of working in the education sector with children who have previously had difficulties in mainstream school??
We have a vacancy available in a PRU school in the Liverpool area. The school pride themselves on creating a comfortable and friendly environment that feels like a family. It is very important for the staff to get to know the children and be able to support them in anyway they need. Their school ethos is: Young people can only learn when their basic needs are being met and understood. The menta l health and emotional well-being of both staff and students is the most important thing for the leadership team and they work hard each day to make sure the whole school community feels supported.
They are looking for an individual who can use sports to re-engage students, they need to be able to work with students from different backgrounds and be patient and positive, creating a comfortable environment for students.
- The working hours are 8.30am–3.30pm (full-time)
- Specialist provision- St Helens
- Start date- As soon as possible.
- Pay- £85-£100
The ideal sports coach would be somebody who is able to work closely with students who may have difficulties with social situations or have previously had problems with behaviour. They would be an individual who is very resilient and genuinely cares about creating a safe and comfortable environment for students. They will use their knowledge of sports to help keep the children engaged and included.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
