Specialist Teaching Assistant
Primary School based

Are you seeking a rewarding role assisting children in Primary School progress their education? Do you have experience working with children or adults with additional learning needs, then we would like to hear from you?
Our partnership Primary Schools across Llanelli and surrounding areas are seeking educators who can work on a full-time basis (08.30am-15.30pm) Monday to Friday. You will be working across EYFS-KS2 covering general classroom duties as well as assisting children with additional learning needs such as Autism, ADHD and Global development delay. The role requires you to support the children throughout their day to day activities as well as supporting their mental wellbeing.
If you have direct experience working in a school, have come from a caring background or have extensive personal experience with children. Please get in touch as we would like to discuss this opportunity with you.
Minimum Requirements
- 5x GCSE’s A-C minimum or equivalent
- Relevant experience that will aid your application
- DBS- Enhanced- Child Workforce only on the update service (we can help you get this)
- EWC registration (we can help you get this)
- Dedicated and motivated to work well with others
- Committed to making a change
- Access to transport due to location of schools
- Welsh language- desired but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
