We’re looking for a Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team local to Royston (Hertfordshire), ensuring every child receives the individualized care and expertise they need to thrive.

Your Role:

  • Deliver consistent, high-quality support tailored to the specific needs of each pupil.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists to implement effective learning strategies.
  • Provide personal care and assistance with physical interventions for our children with physical disabilities. 
  • Foster independence and resilience in pupils while addressing barriers to learning.
  • Support sensory, emotional, and communication needs with sensitivity and expertise.
  • Adapt to a variety of SEN requirements, ensuring inclusivity and personal development for every child.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Specialist Knowledge: Experience with a variety of SEN needs, including autism, ADHD, sensory processing issues, and speech and language difficulties.
  • Dedication to Consistency: A patient and reliable individual who understands the importance of stability in a child’s education.
  • Strong Communication: Ability to work effectively with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Relevant Qualifications: CACHE Level 2/3, SEN-related training, or equivalent experience (preferred but not essential).
