Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Maths Teacher to join a supportive school community in Christchurch. This is a full-time role, ideal for an experienced educator with a strong background in Special Educational Needs who is committed to making a difference in students' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons tailored to SEN students, ensuring accessibility and understanding for all learning levels.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that nurtures individual learning needs and fosters academic growth.
  • Collaborate with the SEN team and support staff to develop personalized learning plans and monitor student progress.
  • Engage positively with students, parents, and staff, maintaining clear communication and supporting the school's inclusive ethos.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Maths to SEN students at secondary level (KS3 and KS4).
  • Strong understanding of SEN best practices, with a patient, compassionate, and adaptable teaching style.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo the check).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
