The school caters for autisic children aged 4-12 who may have a range of additional needs.

The school is set in a lovely area, in a stunning 1880's country house, surrounded by eight acres of beautiful parkland - a serene and inspiring environment for both students and staff.

As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored support to children with autism and additional needs.
  • Assist in creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support pupils in developing essential life skills, including communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation.
  • Use creative and proactive approaches to help children engage in their learning and enjoy their school experience.
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

  • Experience working with children with autism and additional needs (desirable but not essential; training can be provided).
  • A patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
