Job description

Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team, providing one-to-one support for a KS2 child with ADHD at a vibrant primary school in Bacup.
Location: OL12 Rochdale
Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30am- 3.30pm
Rate of pay: 12.90- 14.50 per hour
Temp/ Prem starting in Jan 2025
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to a KS2 child with , ensuring their educational and emotional needs are met.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging the child's social and academic development.
- Monitor and report on the child's progress, adapting strategies as necessary to promote their success.
- Utilise various techniques and resources to engage the child in learning activities and help them stay focused and motivated.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly ADHD.
- A patient, empathetic, and understanding approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
