SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Sutton, Greater London and Surrounding Areas
Start Date: October 2024

Our client schools in Sutton and surrounding areas, are seeking dedicated and passionate SEMH Teaching Assistants to join their teams in making a difference in the lives of learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health)
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and other professionals to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teaching team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEMH or SEN
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in Special Education or related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs.
- Ability to adapt to different learning environments and work collaboratively within a team.
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced child only DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
