Job description

Our Bournemouth based SEN school are seeking a full time Class Teacher to join our team from January, or sooner if the right teacher has earlier availability. 

We are an Autism specialist provision for secondary pupils who have also either been excluded from school or have social, emotional and mental health needs. 

Our pupils are aged 11-16 and benefit from both our small class sizes and specialist facilities to enable pupils the best possible curriculum to meet their needs. You will be teaching across the curriculum, and we will provide you support with the subjects that are outside your specialist area in terms of planning. 

We are seeking:

  • A core subject specialist teacher who either has previous SEN experience or a strong desire to work in SEN
  • Someone who has qualified teacher status in the UK and UK teaching experience 
  • A teacher who is able to spark the imagination of our pupils
  • Either an ECT or an experienced teacher will be considered

This role will be full time, and salary will be dependent on prior experience. We are not able to offer sponsorship, so please do not apply if you require this.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
