Location: Various Primary Schools across West Sussex

About the Role

As a Supply Teacher, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a positive learning environment for primary students. Whether you’re delivering lesson plans or bringing your own creative approach, your goal is to engage and inspire pupils in the absence of their regular teacher. Responsibilities include:

  • Adapting quickly to new classroom settings
  • Engaging students with fun and interactive lessons
  • Following or adapting existing lesson plans as needed
  • Managing classroom behavior positively and effectively

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in primary education
  • A positive attitude, flexibility, and the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare (DBS clearance required)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
