Maths Teacher
Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Mathematics teacher to join our secondary school in Stoke, starting from Easter. This long-term, full-time position provides a unique opportunity to work in a supportive and forward-thinking school where academic achievement is a priority. The role involves teaching Mathematics across a range of year groups and abilities, providing the successful candidate with the chance to inspire students and encourage their mathematical development.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for mathematics and a commitment to delivering engaging lessons that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills. As a Mathematics teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons that cater to students’ varying needs, ensuring that each student receives the support and challenge they need to excel. You will also be expected to assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the development of the Mathematics curriculum.
We are looking for someone who is not only highly knowledgeable in Mathematics but also passionate about making the subject accessible and enjoyable for all students. The successful applicant will work closely with a dedicated team of professionals who collaborate to ensure that students’ mathematical skills are developed to their full potential. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
