Maths Teacher
Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Maths Teacher to join our thriving secondary school in the NN4 area. If you have a passion for mathematics and a commitment to helping students succeed, we’d love to hear from you!
Position: Maths Teacher
Location: NN4
Salary: £150 - £210 per day (based on qualifications and experience)
Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Inspire a love of mathematics and help students achieve their full potential.
- Regularly assess, track, and support student progress.
- Work collaboratively with the Maths Department to develop curriculum and resources.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Required Qualification: Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching mathematics in a secondary school.
- Skills: Strong subject knowledge, classroom management expertise, and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
Requirements:
- Experience in a safeguarding or pastoral care role, ideally within a school or youth setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate effectively to students, parents, and staff.
- Knowledge of safeguarding policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
- Ability to work proactively and with sensitivity, handling safeguarding matters with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Excellent organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
