About the Role

As a Mathematics teacher with Teaching Personnel, you'll have the opportunity to bring the beauty of Mathematics to life for students in diverse educational settings. Whether stepping into a short-term cover role or establishing a longer-term presence in a school, you will be key to supporting students' learning and progression in a subject that’s vital to their academic and personal development.

We are looking for teachers at all stages in their careers, whether you are an experienced professional or a newly qualified teacher looking for your first assignments. As a Mathematics teacher on our team, you’ll have access to a range of roles suited to your skill set, goals, and availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and Deliver Lessons: Create engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that cater to the needs of various student abilities and learning styles.
  • Assess Student Progress: Regularly monitor, assess, and provide feedback on students' academic performance.
  • Adapt and Inspire: Motivate and inspire students, helping them to grasp complex mathematical concepts and develop a genuine interest in the subject.
  • Support and Collaboration: Work closely with other teaching staff, school administration, and support staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and productive classroom atmosphere, encouraging respectful behavior and focus on learning.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialization in Mathematics or a related subject.
  • Strong Subject Knowledge in Mathematics, with the ability to teach up to GCSE level (A-Level experience is a plus).
  • Excellent Communication Skills to explain complex concepts in a clear, engaging way.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability to seamlessly step into various school environments and teaching roles.
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one prior to placement).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
