Job Duties:

• Provide support and guidance to students with learning difficulties or disabilities
• Assist in the development and implementation of individual learning plans
• Work closely with teachers to ensure students' needs are met
• Monitor and track student progress and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

• Relevant experience in a similar role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Understanding of inclusive education practises

Education:

Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Education or related field

Experience:

At least 2 years of experience working in a learning support role

Knowledge and Skills:

• Familiarity with special education needs (SEN) practises
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies in education
• Strong organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Level 4 qualification in Education or related field
• Training in specific learning support techniques

Working Conditions:

• Work primarily in a school setting
• May involve some travel to different locations within the area
• Full-time hours, Monday to Friday

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
