Job description

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Stoke. This full-time, long-term position offers the opportunity to teach a rich and diverse curriculum, inspiring students to engage with the past and understand its relevance to the present. The school has a strong academic reputation and is committed to providing a balanced and engaging education.

In this role, you will plan and deliver lessons that challenge and engage students, helping them to develop their historical inquiry skills and critical thinking. You will assess students’ work, provide feedback, and support their academic progress in line with school standards. Additionally, you will be part of a collaborative teaching team that values professional growth and ongoing development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
