Are you passionate about bringing history to life? Do you inspire young minds to explore the past and shape the future? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join our vibrant community from January 2024.

The Role

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Can deliver engaging and inspiring History lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and possibly Key Stage 5.
  • Has a strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching history.
  • Promotes critical thinking and curiosity about historical events and their relevance today.
  • Contributes positively to the school’s Catholic ethos and values.

What We’re Looking For

  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in History or a related field.
  • Someone with a proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching or an ambitious Early Career Teacher (ECT) ready to make a difference.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
  • A willingness to actively participate in the Catholic life of the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
