Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a dynamic secondary school team in Stockport. This full-time role offers the chance to work closely with students and staff to create a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality support to students across various subjects.
• Plan and deliver lessons under the guidance of teachers.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to enhance student learning.
• Manage the classroom in the teacher’s absence.
• Assist with assessing and tracking student progress.
• Support the planning and preparation of learning activities.
• Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with additional needs.

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent.
• Proven experience supporting students in a classroom setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to different learning needs.
• A passion for helping students achieve their potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
