Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Salary: £85-£100 per day

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a dynamic secondary school team in Stockport. This full-time role offers the chance to work closely with students and staff to create a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality support to students across various subjects.
- Plan and deliver lessons under the guidance of teachers.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to enhance student learning.
- Manage the classroom in the teacher’s absence.
- Assist with assessing and tracking student progress.
- Support the planning and preparation of learning activities.
- Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with additional needs.
Requirements:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent.
- Proven experience supporting students in a classroom setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to different learning needs.
- A passion for helping students achieve their potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
