Exciting Opportunity for a Geography Teacher in Durham!

Position: Geography Teacher
Pay: £162.31 to £251.71 per day (to scale)
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:

  • Teach Geography to KS3 and KS4 students with a range of abilities.
  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that bring Geography to life.
  • Participate in a variety of extracurricular activities to enrich student experiences.

What You’ll Need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Solid understanding of the Geography curriculum with the ability to reach diverse learners.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • An Enhanced Child-Only DBS check registered with the Update Service (we can assist with this if needed).
  • Two professional references from recent employment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
