Are you passionate about English and inspiring young minds? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Lead to join our vibrant secondary school in Bath, on a full-time, long-term basis.
About the Role
As a Teacher of English, you will:
- Deliver and lead engaging and high-quality lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Foster a love of literature, language, and learning in a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Plan and mark work in line with the school’s curriculum and policies.
- Support students to achieve their full potential, regardless of ability or background.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in English or a related subject.
- Experience teaching English to secondary school students (KS3 and KS4).
- A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
