Curriculum Leader for Maths
Hours: Full-Time, Perm
Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR1
Start date: Jan 2025
Teaching Personnel have an amazing opportunity to work with an exceptional school based in Wellingborough. The school are seeking an inspirational Curriculum Leader for Maths, with deep subject knowledge and passion for the subject.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of a world class, mastery Maths curriculum
- Provide leadership and guidance to Maths team in curriculum planning, instructional strategies, and assessment methods.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and developments in Maths education, integrating these into the curriculum.
- Monitor and assess student performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for enhancing student achievement in Maths
- Select instructional materials, textbooks, and resources to support the Maths curriculum.
- Lead the recruitment, mentoring, and professional development of Maths department staff alongside the Senior Leader for Professional Development
- Lead teachers to create a culture of high challenge and low threat in our Maths classrooms.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Maths education or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of current Maths curriculum standards and best practices, especially mastery
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders.
- Passion for Maths education and a commitment to inspiring students in the field.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
