ASD SEN Teacher Required in Bath
Location: Bath, (BA2)
Start Date: January 2025
Job Type: Full-Time - Monday to Friday - 8.15am to 3.15pm
Pay: £140 - £220 per day (Paid to scale) (Depending on Experience - Paid through PAYE)
Temp to Perm Contract
Teaching Personnel are supporting a school who are looking to hire a committed and passionate SEN Teacher Autism to join their staff for next term.
Responsibilities
- The ideal SEN Teacher Autism for this position will be someone who is enthusiastic, passionate, and willing to get involved in the community of this school.
- The expectations for this role is a SEN Teacher Autism who is confident in the key competencies of their subject area, and has a broad knowledge base and understanding of the curriculum requirements to guide student learning.
- It is important to this school that the SEN Teacher Autism they hire is able to analyse assessment data and use it to inform lesson planning and structure.
- The SEN Teacher Autism appointed to this position will need to establish and maintain the standards of pupil behaviour required to create an orderly and productive environment.
Qualifications/Experience
- You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
- Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
- To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
