Role Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistants for ad-hoc placements in primary and secondary schools. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy supporting children with varying educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support to teachers, helping manage classroom behaviour and assisting with learning activities.
- Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning concepts.
- Support children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) where required.
- Assist with general classroom tasks, including preparing resources and tidying up.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant (preferred but not essential).
- A passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings.
- An enhanced DBS check registered on the update service or willingness to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
