Job Title: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

£90 - £100 Per day
Job Duties:
- Provide 1:1 support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting
- Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Support the classroom teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Help students with their learning and personal care needs as required
- Monitor and record student progress, and report back to the teacher
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as educational psychologists and speech therapists, to support student development
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Relevant experience working with children with SEN
- Understanding of the UK education system and SEN practises
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting
- Knowledge of different SEN conditions and strategies to support student learning
- Experience in implementing educational plans and strategies
- Ability to adapt to the individual needs of students
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Additional training in supporting students with specific SEN requirements
- First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily takes place within a classroom environment
- May involve providing personal care assistance to students
- Potential for occasional off-site visits or activities
- Full-time hours, following the school term calendar

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
