Job description
Teaching Personnel are working with a primary school based in Congleton, committed to providing a high-quality, inclusive education for all pupils. They are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join the team from September 2025.
This is a great opportunity for an ECT looking to start their career, or an experienced Primary Teacher looking for an exciting new role.
About the role:
- Start Date: 1st September
- Ongoing/long-term with opportunity for permanent contract
- £30,000 to £40,000 (dependent on PayScale)
As a class teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports pupil wellbeing and academic progress. You’ll be expected to assess learning regularly, provide clear feedback, and maintain accurate records of pupil achievement. Working closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents, you will contribute to the wider school community and help promote our values and ethos. You will also take part in staff meetings, contribute to curriculum development, and support school events and enrichment activities throughout the year.
What we’re looking for:
- QTS or equivalent qualification
- Experience within a primary school (preferable within KS2) is essential
- Excellent behaviour and classroom management
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and current teaching practices
- Dedicated and passionate about the development of young students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
